This policy covers studentbn.com, the website of Student Benefit Network, a brand of Prospect Digital LLC. You can reach us on (719) 701-8266 or at info@studentbn.com, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm EST.
What we collect
You can read every page without giving us anything. We collect details only when you send them: your name, email address, mobile number if you add one, the topic you choose, your message, whether you checked the text box, and the page and time you did so. Our server also keeps routine logs (IP address, browser and pages requested) for security.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to you, to send the updates you asked for, to keep a record of your consent, and to keep the site secure. We do not use them to decide anything about you, and we do not build profiles for advertising.
Text messages
Texts are sent only to people who check the text box, and they come directly from Student Benefit Network. Reply STOP to any message to end them. Frequency, rates and every way to opt out are set out in the SMS terms.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and sign-ups for as long as you want updates, plus a short period after you stop. Consent records are kept for as long as the law asks us to be able to show them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or to stop all messages, by writing to info@studentbn.com or calling (719) 701-8266. We will answer within 30 days.
Children
The site is written for college students and their families. We do not knowingly collect details from children under 13, and we delete any we find.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to stored messages is limited to the people who answer them. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us Social Security numbers, account passwords or tax documents.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
